Well... the below information is less than current, the 2008-2009 team is currently
competing in their Spring season.
Once Again congratulations to the 2004 "Fighting Highlighters"
on their succesful season. ISU competed in the first round of Division II Play-offs on Halloween weekend, and for the first
time hosted a play-off series on their home pitch. In a hard fought weekend, ISU women defeated Iowa State University
& North Dakota State University, both by close margins.
November 6th- 7th, the girls competed in Lamont in the second round of play-offs. Where
they faced West Virginia and came from behind to move on to the next round of the Division II National Tournament that was
held in Santa Cruz, California in April of 2005.
The girls had a little bit of a disapointing trip losing both games in California, but came
home with an experience they won't soon forget.
